Hired initially to resurrect an old stone wall, and eventually brought in to site the new garage, sunroom and create a master plan, this project is one of our most comprehensive yet. A clean linear stone wall creates an edge against the busy road. Large perennial beds for cutting lead from the gravel entry courtyard to the private back patio and gardens. Gracious stone steps cut through native boulder walls connecting the patio to the open lawn. Winterberry, sweetfern, redbud, and blueberry are used en masse and the perennial borders include sturdy favorites such as brown eyed susan, iris, echinacea, salvia,and and lady’s mantle.
